Sandbanks Beach is known as the best beach in the UK – a blue flag beach, with golden sand and clean water. Sandbanks peninsula is connected to Studland by a chain ferry which runs across the mouth of the harbour.

Poole Harbour is Europe’s largest natural harbour and has been referred to in the media as ‘Britain’s Palm Beach’ and is reknowned for watersports such as windsurfing, kite surfing, paddleboarding & sailing.

There is a regular open-top bus – the Purbeck Breezer (Route 50) that goes along Sandbanks Road to Studland and Swanage and runs up to every 30 minutes.

Dorset is an area of outstanding natural beauty – and there is plenty to see and do in the county come rain or shine!
